| Course Objectives This course is designed to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and associated risks associated with work related driving. Course Content On completion of the course delegates will: • Understand how health and safety legislation applies to company driving activities • Understand the risks associated with work related driving • Be able to conduct risk assessments for company driving activities and drivers • Understand how to develop a Driving Policy • Have and appreciated of the management and workplace controls necessary to control occupational road risk Who should attend This course is intended for transport/fleet managers and managers of company drivers. The course is accredited by SSG and delegates will receive an SSG certificate. Assessment The course comprises of formal training sessions, highly participative classroom-based discussions, videos and groups/individual exercises.
