Course Objectives
To provide delegates with a basic grounding in the essentials of health and safety management within an office based environment.
Course Content
• Relevant Health & Safety legislation and how it applies to an office environment.
• Hazard and risk identification.
• Common office hazards such as slips, trips, fire, manual handling and electricity.
• The identification of the principles of an ergonomic design and layout of a workstation.
Who should attend
Any employee working in offices including supervisors and safety specialists.
Assessment
The course uses presentations, classroom based discussion, group and individual exercises. The course is accredited by SSG and delegates will receive an SSG certificate.
