Training Course Objectives
This course is designed for Supervisors, Engineers, Foreman and Agents and will benefit those that have a duty to inspect scaffold for safe use and to cover relevant legislation.

The course will develop an understanding of the appropriate safety regulations and implementation
• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Accident Causation and Prevention
• Current Legislation Guidance Notes
• Practice Industry Based Standards
• Erection Techniques
• Scaffold Types Terms and Uses
• Mobile Tower Use of Video
• Specific Regulation
• Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations 1996
• Inspection of Scaffolding
• Practical Inspection of Standing Scaffold with built in faults
Who should attend
This course is intended for any person who has responsibility for inspecting scaffolds.
Assessment
The course is run by a UK Tutor who specialises in this type of training. Successful participants will be awarded a certificate of training.
Delegates will be continually assessed by the trainer and will be required to complete a practical exercise.
Dates: Guernsey - 9th March, 19th October. Jersey - 8th March, 18th October.
Duration: 1 Day
