Training Course Objectives
The course is designed to give candidates an understanding of the need for the safe erection and dismantling procedures of mobile access towers. It trains the operative to a level of competence to carry out tower inspections and to create a safe system of work when working with mobile access towers.
Access Towers (mobile) Course Content
Generally the course covers:-
• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Inspections and Register
• Safe Systems of Work
• Component Use and Inspections to be carried out
• Toe boards and Handrails
• Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996
• Height to Base Ratio - Use of Outriggers and Stabilisers
• Assessment Paper
• Practical Section - Erection and Dismantling of the Mobile Access Tower
Who should attend
The course is designed for anyone who erects and uses mobile scaffold towers.
A certificate of training will be awarded to each successful delegate.
